Deutsches Klingenmuseum

Since 1991, the Deutsche Klingenmuseum (German Blade Museum) has been located in the converted buildings of a former monastery. The heritage-protected building, located in the Bergisch-baroque setting of Solingen-Gräfrath, welcomes guests with clarity and peacefulness and offers elegant surroundings for conferences and events. Whether in the foyer or in the so-called “Stiftersaal”, spending time in these stylish buildings among knives, swords and diverse cutting instruments is always a wonderful experience for small or large groups. Just two minutes walking distance away, visitors find themselves in the middle of the Old Town – the historic centre of Solingen-Gräfrath, where elegant hotels and up market restaurants are an open invitation for strolling and lingering.
