Bergische Museumsbahnen e.V.

A journey into the past with The Bergische Museumsbahnen e.V. becomes a brisk moment in time: for example, in an over 80 year old fully restored tram. The thrill of riding on a track grinding locomotive and in drive carriages is extraordinary and the lorries in the depot soon become requisites for imposing settings. The depot is not only a fascinating train museum, but also a place rich in variety awakening the desire of train enthusiasts for enjoyment. The route of the historical tram begins here gliding over the old tracks through the forest. The neighbouring pathway through the romantic Kaltenbach valley is bordered by testimonials of early industrialisation. Just a few steps away one can discover the historical, so-called, Manuelskotten, an edge grinding mill, as well as a romantic beer garden.
